Move from Ameba Ownd

Ameba Ownd will shut down on December 24, 2026 at 11:00 JST. With LynxPress, just enter your current site address to move your posts, pages, images and menu in one go. No export file needed.

What carries over

• Published posts (body, date and categories)
• Pages (profile, pricing, contact and more)
• Images in posts and pages (re-hosted on LynxPress)
• Featured images
• Menu order
• The page you set as your home page

If you used your own domain, point it to LynxPress on a paid plan and visitors to your old Ameba Ownd post addresses are sent to the new LynxPress addresses automatically, so links from search and social media keep working.

How to move

1. Step 1

   Sign up for LynxPress for free

   The Free plan is free. No credit card required.

2. Step 2

   Open "Import and export"

   In the dashboard, open "Site settings" in the left menu, then "Import and export".

3. Step 3

   Enter your Ameba Ownd site address

   Enter your current address (for example https://yourname.amebaownd.com) under "Import from address". Even hundreds of posts are imported in one go.

4. Step 4

   Pick a theme and publish

   Choose the look from the LynxPress themes. Your imported posts and pages display as they are with any theme.

Before you move

• Only published posts and pages are imported. Publish drafts on Ameba Ownd first, or rewrite them on LynxPress after the move.
• Once Ameba Ownd shuts down, your site can no longer be read. Please import before December 24.
• The design is not copied. You choose a look from the LynxPress themes.
